The 21st Night of September?
[Insert Earth Wind & Fire memes here]
How goes it, Family!? I miss writing nonsense on here. September has been bland for me thus far. I wrote him a “are we cool or nah” letter; though he said he read it, he never got back to me. So clearly, we are not cool, and I haven’t thought about it in weeks. It’s more of a footnote of September. Good.
I’ve gotten back into the Sonic fandom on Twitter (spoiler alert, those people are crazy over there) and have made great friends and acquaintances within the last 3 months. I love that for me. I usually don’t want to be bothered by people, and now I have all sorts of people bothering me on my Discord, which I’m elated about! They are all really cool people, and I really enjoy their company! Especially this one mutual that I got to know through a Twitter mutual. She’s so sweet and so kind and a silly hot mess, and I really wish that we lived close to each other because we would hang out for real. She has really helped me get out of my comfort zone online, again, which is cool. I miss feeling this way about good people, especially after the year I’ve had mentally and emotionally.
Work is stupid as always, which, by the way, the coworker that I now dislike volunteered to go work at another location temporarily, which brings me joy because I’m not stressed out anymore. My other awesome coworker is gone for two months to take care of her ailing mother. I pray the surgery is a success and that her mom lives a lot of extra years because of it. I want my coworker to be happy and love her mom as long as she can.
All of my other coworkers are moot, and I don’t care much about what they have going on. The crazy Asian dude has been annoying me since the cranky coworker switched locations. The younger Hispanic coworker has also been annoying me and doing whatever he wants. My older Hispanic assistant manager has basically denounced the job, and he “just works here.” And our white manager still refuses to learn the machines outside of the digitization stuff, the schedule is still a mess, and he picks and chooses when to enforce policy. We got a new guy from a different department who now works with us. We’ve worked with him before, so I know him. He seems cool for now. Very dorky and nerdy, but catches on so well to the job. I’m so happy, and he speaks Spanish! Praise GOD.
All in all, September has been boring. Can’t wait for the end of October so I can see Earth, Wind, and Fire with my family out of state. Gonna be so great!
BTW, I hope to do some more writing, so stay tuned for that!
